Nubra Valley lies 120 km north of Leh, while Pangong Lake is 140 km to the east. Hanle is situated 220 km east of Leh, and Tso Moriri Lake is 220 km southeast. Zanskar Valley is located south of Leh, accessible via Wanla (180 km) or via Kargil (420 km). Kargil is 220 km southwest of Leh, and Sham Valley is approximately 120 km to the southwest.
